With a warm and compassionate attitude, Jennifer started Organized Transitions with a vision of making moving as simple and easy as possible. Jennifer has over 22 years of versatile professional management skills and she believes that trustworthy and reliable customer service is the cornerstone for any business. Her professional experience includes a private start-up tourism company, franchisee of a national chain where she employed over 100 staff members, and organizing affairs in a corporation with over 750 employees. Jennifer has been relied upon time and time again for her solid organizational skills and take-charge demeanour. She equally understands the human dynamics of sensitive situations and can be counted on to provide the highest level of confidentiality.
Julia has an affinity for organizing and from a young age would often volunteer her time at the homes of friends and family to help organize, pack, and move. With a background in academic administration and a degree in Sociology, Julia was drawn towards this unique field that combines project coordination with the personal experience of working with people in their homes. She joined the profession in 2016 and became a Trained Professional Organizer with the Professional Organizers In Canada in 2017. Julia provides a patient, sensitive approach with clients to calmly and efficiently work through the downsizing and relocation experience.
With a background in nursing, focused primarily in the field of geriatrics, Sarah brings a compassionate and patient approach to each job. During her years as a stay at home mother of two, Sarah was asked on numerous occasions to assist friends, family and neighbours to organize their homes. Often helping to pack, move and set up a new home and in many cases assist the often overwhelming task of dealing with a loved one’s estate. Known for her love of all things organized, many requested her assistance knowing she would be patient, supportive and never pass judgement. Working alongside her team at Organized Transitions, Sarah is committed to helping clients accomplish their goals in an efficient, timely and supportive manner.
With a background in Human Resources, Dora not only brings to the team her expertise in all facets of Human Resources but also her passion for Organization. Dora completed her undergrad Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University and her post grad in HR Management from Humber College. She worked in Human Resources with a large health care facility for over 20 years with experience in employee relations, benefits administration, talent solutions and more. After many years of volunteering to organize the homes of family and friends, Dora received her designation as a Professional Organizer from Ultimate Academy. She is a firm believer that having a clear and decluttered space offers a clear and decluttered mind to enjoy the simple things in life.
Alicia is an accomplished Project Manager and Team Lead. She is PMP (Project Management Professional) certified with an MBA in Project Management and comes with extensive experience in the corporate IT environment. Her passion for organizing and interior decorating led to a change of career and her pursuing Ultimate Professional Organizer™ and Ultimate Decorator & ReDesigner™ certifications in 2019, amongst others. Alicia brings to the table a keen sense of understanding customer needs and ensuring that services provided fulfill those needs and more. Her project management experience lends to a methodical and efficient approach to getting things done on time and within budget.
